GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese 95% , Colorino 5%
EXPOSURE: South, South West.
SOIL TYPE: Clay loam with rock fragments.
PLANTING DENSITY: 5200 vines stocks /hectares.
TRAINING SYSTEM: Sprur pruning.
HARVESTING PERIOD: Harvest takes place from the second week of September to the first two weeks of October.
HARVESTING METHOD: Mechanical harvesting with selection of grapes.
PRESSING: Soft pressing.
MACERATION ON THE SKINS: For 3 weeks with pumping over the cap.
FERMENTATION AND AGEING: Alcoholic and malolatic fermentation occur with native yeasts. Ageing in vitrified cement tanks . Futher ageing in bottle for 4/5 months.
TASTING NOTES: Ruby red colour , lovelly red cherry and floreal hints, elegance and intensity on the palate.
LONGEVITY Around 8/10 years.
